Friendship Never Ends

It was taken during the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon. L-R: Myself, Melanie and our good friend Juliet

L-R: Juliet, Melanie and myself. It was taken during Juliet and Eric's visit in Singapore. How time flies but we still look the same after 11 years.

We were friends since college, and I couldn't believe that our paths will cross again after how many years of spending life with our respective works in the Philippines, I was in a laid back lifestyle and you were a city girl.   It's been three years now and our friendship still continue to flourish and we were able to surpassed all the trials and still brave enough to welcome all the challenges of life even if we are overseas and away from our families.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELANIE! Wishing you all the best of happiness, good health, peace of  mind and hope our friendship will last forever.

My Usual Rest Day!

After a long 3 days of grueling work, I usually planned my activities on my rest day. After waking-up at 7 in the morning it start with my breakfast of 2 slices of loaf breads with mango jam spread and a mug of hot Milo. Open my Facebook account and check any updates on my friends lives and whereabouts. Then do the laundry so that I can ironed it out in the afternoon. Once I finished the laundry I prepare my self to attend the 12:15 pm mass in Novena church.

Going to Novena Church on my rest day is always in my itinerary, aside from doing some errands, it became my vow to attend the mass whenever I am free because of the huge spiritual help to further my faith in God. It became my refuge when I am have a problem especially when I'm confused and questions my faith in Him. After the mass I felt relieved, fresh and spiritually charged and ready to face tomorrow with a full of hope that would make me a strong person and ready to any challenge of life.

I love my rest day and I end it by cooking dinner for my sister....oops, I only cook if I am not tired and I didn't came from the night shift.
